GH4 Featured Among UAVs Shaping the Future of Flight

Unmanned Aerospace was featured in the August/September 2025 issue of UK-based Uncrewed Systems Technology magazine. In the article “Aerial Pioneers,” author Rory Jackson explores the innovative UAV designs that are reshaping the aerospace landscape and highlights Unmanned Aerospace’s GH4 Gyrocopter-Helicopter as an example of forward-thinking engineering.

The GH4, short for “Gyrocopter-Helicopter, 4th generation,” reflects Unmanned Aerospace’s mission to challenge conventional rotorcraft design. Its patented rotor pitch transition mechanism allows smooth conversion between autogyro and VTOL modes, combining efficiency, simplicity, and sustainable performance. Powered by a hydrogen fuel cell and booster battery system, the GH4 delivers up to 30 minutes of clean hovering and over 3 ½ hours of total flight time, while maintaining only about 10 percent of the mechanical complexity of a traditional helicopter.

The article also notes Unmanned Aerospace’s partnerships with Intelligent Energy, Embention, Plettenberg, and Mejzlik, highlighting the company’s focus on integrating world-class components with advanced proprietary systems. With pilot production of the GH4 planned for Q2 2026 and larger variants in development, this mention reinforces Unmanned Aerospace’s leadership in sustainable unmanned flight.
