SAN DIEGO, CA — June 26, 2025 — Unmanned Aerospace, a next-generation drone technology company, drew significant attention at AUVSI Xponential 2025, one of the world’s leading events for uncrewed and autonomous systems, held May 19–22 in Houston, Texas. With attendees from more than 20 countries, the event provided an ideal stage for the public debut of the GH-4, Unmanned Aerospace’s groundbreaking new VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) drone.
The GH-4’s unconventional design turned heads and sparked conversation across the show floor; attracting defense leaders, international buyers, and representatives from global organizations such as the United Nations. “Our team was engaged almost the entire time. Everyone paused to take photos and ask questions. The GH-4 simply doesn’t look like anything else out there” said Gad Shaanan, CEO.

Unmanned Aerospace’s presence didn’t go unnoticed by the media. Inside Unmanned Systems, Commercial UAV News, Uncrewed Systems Technology, and ApexView all covered the GH-4 at the show.
Richard Thomas, Executive Director and Head of Digital at Inside GNSS and Inside Unmanned Systems, asked Shaanan during an on-site interview, “What’s the genesis for such an innovative product like that?” You can watch the interview here for Gad’s response, to which Thomas reflected “You sort of took this legacy aviation design and brought it full circle into the 21st century.”

Following the show, Commercial UAV News released a story by Editorial Director Jeremiah Karpowicz titled, “GH-4 Set To Reinvent Expectations of VTOL Drones,” underscoring that “It might look like a helicopter, and act like a helicopter, and perform tasks typically associated with a helicopter, but it isn’t a helicopter. And that’s exactly the point.”
Winding down the show, Shaanan remarked “Xponential 2025 was our launch platform of the GH-4. The organizers from AUVSI were professional at helping us set up our booth, and the exhibition visitors were excited to see our new UAV technology, which leads to strategic, quality leads. We built the GH-4 to challenge the norm—and the industry’s reaction confirms that we’re not just thinking differently, we’re building differently.”

Videos and photography from the event are now available upon request and will be featured on the company’s website and social channels in the coming days.
