Unmanned-Aerospace is a startup headquartered in San Diego, California, developing a family of military and commercial drones.
In operation since 2019 and backed by the US Navy, we are a small and dynamic team of aerospace engineers, mechanical engineers, and industrial designers, seeking a pilot to assist in training our autopilot to fly the GH-4. The GH-4 is a highly sophisticated, completely unique aircraft that is a combination gyrocopter/helicopter UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle).
The right candidate is highly skilled, passionate about piloting remote flying systems as a career, with experience flying similar grade RC helicopters and gyrocopters (not toys). We are not looking for a pilot to execute incredible maneuvers with a helicopter that already has autogiro stabilizers; we are looking for an individual with intuition, capable of anticipating the aircraft’s behavior to certain commands and responding quickly.
If you think you are the right candidate but lack gyrocopter experience, we can provide you with an aircraft to learn on.
Mechanical/technical skills are a plus.
This is a full-time position onsite at our San Diego location. Salary TBD based experience.
Interested candidates should send a resume and a short video demonstrating your piloting skills to: info@unmanned-aerospace.com.
